Experience a world-class scuba diving adventure with Panama Dive Center, exploring the breathtaking underwater landscapes of Coiba, Ranchería, Canales, and surrounding islands. This full-day trip is specially designed for certified divers who want to immerse themselves in one of Panama's most renowned marine parks. Your day begins with a morning coffee and safety briefing at our dive center in Santa Catalina before we embark on a scenic 1.5-hour boat ride to the dive sites. Depending on weather and sea conditions, you will enjoy 2 or 3 dives, each lasting around 50 minutes, exploring depths from 10 to 30 meters. Throughout the trip, you’ll have the opportunity to encounter an astonishing variety of marine life, including white-tipped reef sharks, turtles, dolphins, eagle rays, barracudas, snappers, and colorful tropical fish. During plankton-rich seasons, lucky divers might even swim alongside whale sharks or giant manta rays. From July to September, humpback whales are frequently spotted on the surface, adding magic to your day. We usually stop for lunch at the Coiba rangers’ station, where you might glimpse wild monkeys, iguanas, crocodiles, and rare birds, or at a stunning secluded beach within the park. ✅ Professional dive guide ✅ All diving equipment (including dive computer) ✅ Lunch (rice with chicken or vegetarian option), fruit & water ✅ Boat transfer to dive sites ❌ Coiba National Park entrance fee ($20 per foreign visitor, $5 for Panamanian residents – paid in cash) ❌ Third dive fee ($25) in case weather conditions allow an additional dive Duration: Full day (approx. 9 hours) Meeting point: Panama Dive Center, Santa Catalina, 7:30 AM Requirements: Certified divers only (Open Water or equivalent). Participants under 15 years old may need a private guide due to depth restrictions. Water temperature: 26–30°C most of the year; 18–24°C thermoclines possible between March and June. Absolutely incredible! Did this tour with my wife and teenage kids – everyone had a blast. We saw multiple white-tip reef sharks, a massive school of barracudas, and countless tropical fish. Our guide Carlos was amazing – super patient with my son who’s a newer diver. The lunch at the ranger station was great, and we even spotted some iguanas! Already planning to come back next year. Five stars all the way!
