How Listing on Coiba Island Works
Coiba-Island.com is not a paid directory and not every submission will be added. Instead, we aim to highlight a curated selection of places and tours that:
- Provide good value and clear communication
- Respect local communities, safety standards and park rules
- Offer something useful or memorable for travelers
Here’s how it usually works:
- You submit your place or tour using the form on this page.
- We review your information, visit your website and social links, and sometimes check reviews on platforms like Google Maps, TripAdvisor or Booking.com.
- If your place or tour is a good fit, we may:
- Add it to one or more of our guides and lists, or
- Contact you with follow-up questions or possible partnership ideas.
We can’t promise a specific review time, but we recommend assuming a few weeks for us to look at your submission, especially during busy travel seasons.
Submit Your Place or Tour
Please fill out the form below with as much detail as you can. The more complete your answers, the easier it is for us to understand if and where you might fit in our guides.
It’s especially helpful if you include:
- A clear description of what you offer
- Your location (town / area) and how travelers find you
- Your website and social media
- Price range or typical prices
- A link to your reviews (if you have them)
We usually respond to serious submissions as soon as we can, but please keep in mind that our main priority is helping travelers plan their trips.
If you have additional documents or details that don’t fit in the form, you can mention them in your message or contact us later through the main contact page on Coiba-Island.com.
What Makes a Good Fit for Our Guides
We’re most likely to feature places and tours that:
- Are clearly relevant to travelers visiting Coiba Island and Santa Catalina
- Have good, honest reviews or a solid reputation with guests
- Communicate in a friendly, transparent way (online and offline)
- Operate in a way that respects local communities, wildlife and the marine environment
- Follow the rules of Coiba National Park and other local regulations
We don’t require perfection, but we do look for operators and hosts who genuinely care about their guests and about Coiba’s long-term future.
If your business is very far from Coiba / Santa Catalina or not really connected to travelers visiting the area, it’s unlikely to be included.
FAQ – Adding Your Place or Tour
Does it cost money to be listed on Coiba-Island.com?
In most cases, no. We primarily add places and tours because they are genuinely useful for travelers planning a trip to Coiba and Santa Catalina. In some situations we may explore sponsored or deeper partnerships, but basic inclusion in our guides is not simply pay to be listed.
Can you guarantee that my place or tour will be added?
No. We receive many requests and we can’t add every submission. We review each place or tour based on relevance, quality, safety and usefulness for travelers. If we feel it’s not a good fit, we may keep your information on file without adding it publicly.
How long does it usually take for you to review a submission?
It depends on the season and how many requests we’re handling. A realistic expectation is a few weeks. Sometimes we move faster, especially if your place clearly fills a gap in our guides. We can’t commit to specific deadlines for reviews.
Can I update my information later if something changes?
Yes. If we’ve added your place or tour and you later change your prices, website or services, you can contact us through the main contact page or through this form and mention that you’re sending an update. We’ll do our best to keep your information accurate.
Do you only list businesses directly in Santa Catalina and Coiba?
Our main focus is Coiba Island, Santa Catalina and the immediate surrounding area, but we sometimes include places that are clearly part of the travel route to Coiba (for example, certain transport options or nearby towns used as bases). If you’re not sure whether you’re a good fit, fill out the form and explain how your business connects to Coiba travel.
Can we discuss deeper partnerships or sponsored content?
Possibly. If you’re interested in longer-term collaboration, sponsored content or custom visibility, mention this clearly in your submission or contact us through the main contact page. We only explore deeper partnerships with businesses that match our values and offer real value to travelers.
